Resin earrings, coaster sets, and hand-stamped metal keychains.
I spent six years in a marketing job where my main skill was making slides look finished. Now I pour resin in a spare room and stamp brass with a hammer, and the appeal is that neither of those can be faked into looking finished — it either set clean or it didn't. I sell the ones that didn't quite, too. Those go first, every time, which I find very funny.
The flaws are the product. A bubble caught mid-pour, a stamp a half-degree off, an edge where the gold leaf pooled — those are the pieces people reach for, and they're the ones a factory can't make. I don't sand out character. I do sand out anything sharp, because there's a difference between a piece with a story and a piece that scratches you.
