The object

No two pours come out the same, so a set of four is four related pieces rather than four identical ones. That bothers about one person in fifty and delights the rest. Cork on the bottom because bare resin on a wood table will eventually leave a mark, and I'd rather solve that than warn about it.

Materials

Epoxy resin, gold leaf edging, natural cork backing

Process

Poured in one batch so the color reads as a set, then edged in gold leaf by hand and backed with cork cut to size. Cured a full week before shipping — resin is touch-dry long before it's actually done.
