Cut Above Crafts

My Story
Personalized cutting boards, custom wood signs, and charcuterie boards in solid hardwood.
Twenty-two years framing houses before my knees made the decision for me. The shop is the garage. I build boards and signs now, which is smaller work than a house but the tolerances are tighter and nobody's ever asked me to reframe a kitchen because the spelling was wrong. My wife handles the orders. I handle the saw. That arrangement works.
Craft philosophy
Measure it, cut it once, and don't hide a mistake under finish. Most of what I sell is a gift, which means it has to be right the first time — there's no second chance on a wedding date. So I send a proof on anything personalized and I don't start cutting until it comes back approved. Slower. Fewer problems.
