Macrame wall hangings, plant hangers, and chunky knit blankets in natural cotton.
I learned to knot from my grandmother, who made plant hangers in the seventies and thought it was very funny that they came back. Everything here is undyed — not as an aesthetic choice exactly, more that once I looked into what goes into dyeing rope I couldn't unknow it. I have forty-one plants. My partner counted. Most of them are hanging in something I made while figuring out a pattern.
Natural fiber, no dye, nothing synthetic in the structure. Cotton rope softens as it's handled and the color deepens a little with sun — a piece three years old looks better than the day it shipped, and I don't think many things can say that. I would rather make something that ages than something that stays new until it doesn't.
